This is the 8th Pattern Drop for the Fantabulous Scrappy Stars QAL!
Center Block 8
Opa! We are shouting out exclamations of joy and excitement as we throw another broken dish! Oh, I mean stitch a Broken Dishes Quilt Block. This block is fantabulous for scrap fabrics! Unlike the other blocks, this is a 4-patch of just Half Square Triangles. My understanding is that it is to look like shattered ceramic pieces of broken dishes. I have yet to see it, but have just learned to accept the name and thought behind it. Do you see it? We did this block as a traditionally pieced block for the 6.5” and the 4.5”. I truly hope you enjoy this block as much as I have, and you are enjoying the Quilt-a-long! Happy Quilting! Be sure to grab the pattern below! And once again, “Opa!”
